Stokke® Tripp Trapp® Highchair - a timeless design that lasts for generations
The Tripp Trapp® chair was designed in 1972 by Peter Opsvik, who has been watching as his young son has grown out of his traditional high chair but he was still far too small for using adult’s chair. He decided to design an adjustable chair that would fit any age and size, promote the optimal and correct seating position and still be comfortable for the user. That's how the Tripp Trapp® unconventional visual design was born and it has become an icon to this day.
Adjustable seating height & depth
The Stokke® Tripp Trapp® features unique adjustability of the seat and footrest height and depth enabling the Tripp Trapp® to adapt to your child as they grow, ensuring that your child sits comfortably at all times. The adjustable seat plate elevating your child to the correct height whilst seated, with elbows comfortably resting at table height. It can be also adjusted horizontally to match your child's size, helping your child to sit in the ergonomically correct position, with the ideal "two fingers" width between the back of their knees and the seating plate. The adjustable footrest depth creates the perfect platform for your child to comfortably shift weight and move whilst seated. In summary, the Tripp Trapp® provides the ideal position for eating, playing and socialising around the family dinner table.
Made of solid sustainably sourced wood
The Stokke® Tripp Trapp® chair is made primarily of solid beech, oak or ash woods, that grow in central Europe and are sourced responsibly following the principals of sustainability. These tree species are known for their strength, durability and flexibility and become natural choices for making furniture that lasts for generations. In addition, the Tripp Trapp® is finished with a high quality coating, providing a smooth, resistant surface; reducing scratches and making your Tripp Trapp® easier to clean and maintain.
Multimode usage
The Stokke® Tripp Trapp® chair is suitable to use from birth as a high newborn lounger with specially designed Newborn Set up to approx. 6 months. After that, it is intended for use as a proper feeding highchair with other optional accessories including Baby Set, Tray, Cushion and Safety Harness , which can be detached over time. The chair itself can be used for the rest of the childhood and even longer up to 136kg/300lbs of maximum user weight!

Easy to assemble
The Tripp Trapp® set comes ready to assemble quickly and easily with all needed elements including 2 x wooden legs, 1 x wooden seat plate, 1 x wooden foot plate, 1 x wooden base cross bar, 2 x wooden curved backrests, 2 x metal cross bars, 10 x metal screws, 6 x metal nuts and 1 x Allen key.

DPD Predict Service
Never miss a parcel delivery – for orders sent via DPD you will be notified by text and email on the day of despatch and again on the day of delivery offering a one hour time-slot. If you’re unavailable during this time you have the option of re-arranging your delivery date, or for your delivery to be left with a neighbour.
Download the DPD Predict app and nominate a specific neighbour, your chosen safe place or collect the parcel from your local DPD pickup shop. Please note that a signature is required for all DPD deliveries.
Direct Deliveries from Supplier

Provided lead times are best estimate at the time as provided by our suppliers and are measured against a standard working week and do not factor in national holidays.
Please note that we can only deliver furniture to mainland UK, excluding the Highlands of Scotland, Islands and Ireland. We are unable to accept orders for International delivery.

Posting and Packaging
Here at Winstanleys Pramworld we operate a recycling policy and frequently re-use original packaging to ship brands or products that are different to those that appear on the original box. If you receive a package that has a different brand or product on the box other than you are expecting, please open the box to determine if the product is incorrect. Additionally, we will occasionally pack smaller items in with larger items - please double check the contents of the box. Opening your order does not affect any returns.

What if one of the items in my order is out of stock?

If an item is marked as out of stock what does this mean?
When a product is marked as out of stock on our website, it means it is temporarily out of stock cannot be dispatched right away but is on order with our supplier. Upon receiving your order we will contact you within 24 hours to advise an estimated delivery date.
Can I change my designated delivery day?
Yes. If you wish to select an alternative delivery day please give our Sales Team a call before 4.00pm on the day your order was placed. Once our courier DPD has collected your parcel(s) from us you will receive an email and/or SMS text message containing a link to DPD's website that will direct you to the tracking information for your order, enabling you to check its progress, location or even change your delivery day.
