Here at Pramworld, Bugaboo are one of our all-time favourite brands and when it comes to new product launches, we’re always excited to see what they have in store. From the compact Bee5 to the versatile Donkey 2 their stroller range has never disappointed so when we found out about their brand-new car seat, we couldn’t wait to see the latest addition to the Bugaboo family.
As we’re sure you know, Bugaboo strollers are always named after animals that embody the characteristics of their newest creations and the Bugaboo Turtle is no different. A car seat is designed to keep your baby safe and just like the shell of a Turtle, the outer materials of the seat offer protection on every journey.
Out of the box, the Bugaboo Turtle feels strong and sturdy and the styling is distinctively Bugaboo. The fabrics are all black with white Bugaboo branding and there is no doubt that this car seat will also look great on your stroller aswell as in the car!
Installing into your car is done using the compatible Bugaboo Turtle Isofix Base, which has lots of features to make fitting quick, easy and fail safe, for ultimate peace of mind! Once the base is in the car, the Turtle secures with just one click and the 3-way fitting confirmation system will let you know when you’re ready to go!
From birth, a merino wool infant insert will offer your newborn optimum comfort and protection and as they get older, 2 removeable pieces will offer more space for them to grow. As you remove parts of the insert, the head rest and 5-point harness will also adjust to make sure your child is secure and fully supported. In warmer weather the merino wool insert works to keep your baby cool and the ‘smart visor’ on the hood of the car seat offers UPF 50+ protection from harmful rays.
Taking your seat out of the car, the Turtle is lightweight and easy to carry and for short trips out, you can also pop the car seat onto your Bugaboo stroller and you’re ready to go on your next adventure!
