Earlier this autumn we were invited along to have a sneak peek at the new launch from phil&teds, which hit stores this September. The collection consisted of six pushchairs; Dot, Navigator, Dash, Vibe, Verve and the all new Voyager, whilst all models convert in similar ways phil&teds have carefully designed each buggy with a different person in mind so you’re bound to find the perfect model for you!
The product that really stood out for me at the launch was the phil&teds Dash, and although this model has been available before the new Dash has been redesigned combining beautiful design with innovation and functionality. The Dash has been described as the all rounder of the collection, claiming to be the world’s lightest inline at 11.5kg this makes the pushchair super maneuverable, with the addition of Aeromaxx™ wheels and the kerb pop feature driving is easy with one or two children.
The Dash is suitable from birth with a snug carrycot or the main seat unit can be used for your newborn too. In single mode the double kit can also be used as a parent facing seat offering lots of interaction with your little one. When your family grows, this buggy is also suitable for a newborn and a toddler together or even two toddlers.
The buggy can be folded with both seats still attached and will free stand making it ideal for storing and both seats come complete with seat liners and a new 5-point harness with a one click opening. The front seat also has a leg rest to keep your little one comfortable.
For 2015 the Dash features the introduction of an easy access hand brake and a bigger shopping basket which will take an impressive 10kg when the buggy is in single mode. The large sun hood features UPF50+ protection and there has also been a pocket added to the sun hood with a headphone jack, great for hands free talking or listening to music.
Probably one of the best improvements to the 2015 Dash is the integration of the back panel to cover the newborn when in newborn/toddler mode; this is something that has never been incorporated in to a phil&teds stroller before. The lay flat position seems to be deeper than before as well giving the newborn much more room than previous models.
To put the icing on the cake for this product phil&teds have introduced Grey Marl and Blue Marl to their colour options, both colours and fabrics are absolutely stunning and a huge improvement on the colours offered previously.
