From the very beginning we have been huge advocates of the Extended Rearward facing car seat because research shows keeping your child rearward facing for longer will in turn keep them safer for longer.
Today we’re here to talk about the most recent launch from Joie; the Spin 360 that does exactly what it says on the tin; it spins 360 degrees! Of course this is not a new concept and the ‘spin’ function is something we have seen before from the likes of Britax, Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Nuna however what we haven’t seen before is a price point of £250!
So lets get into the details, first of all the fitting of the seat is super easy and is easily done using the ISOFIX points on the seat. There is a button on the ISOFIX to extend it outwards for fitting and the leg extension is easily adjustable to the floor.
When you sit your baby in the car seat, the 5 point harness will keep your little one safe and secure and the Grow Together head rest adjusts simultaneously with the harness. This means when your child grows, there is no re threading necessary which can take some time.
The Spin has 5 recline positions from birth right through until 18kg which is around 4 years old. It is also worth noting that the seat will rotate regardless of the position; this is different to some of its competitors whose seats only rotate in one position so you may have to sit baby up when getting them in and out of the car.
The fabrics on the Spin are super comfortable and the built in ventilation will keep your little one cool on warm summer days.
If you’re looking for a slightly more affordable ERF option then the Spin 360 is definitely worth checking out!
