I would absolutely describe myself as a fully fledged Cybex fan girl, and from the product features to the overall design, Cybex is one of my favourite brands in the world of nursery. The Cybex Priam stroller has been available for a couple of years and it is loved by parents all over the world, so we wanted to talk you through all of its fabulous features here on the blog…
Inspired by Ray and Charles Eames, the Priam has been created as homage to their life’s work and takes inspiration directly from their timeless pieces and classic designs; particularly the Eames chair. This inspiration takes form especially on the chassis and you can see from the unique design that the shape of the Priam is unlike anything else on the marketplace.
You can choose between a black or chrome chassis for your Priam and then there is a choice of three different wheels; light for city strolling, all terrain for bumpy travels or trekking wheels that work for all terrains no matter what your journey! This is a great feature of the Priam and you even have a choice to buy skis for the front of your stroller for super extreme conditions! Once you have chosen your wheels you’re almost good to go, the sleek lines are super stylish and offer the perfect silhouette.
The Priam is available in lots of different colour options from the regular collection to the fabulous fashion collections (I love these!!) and from birth your little one will be cosy and safe in the lay flat carrycot that can be used until approximately 6 months old.
After 6 months, the Lux seat unit is stylish, comfortable and perfectly sized for your toddler to grow and the padded harness belts are cosy for a little extra comfort. The seat unit can face mum or dad for lots of bonding or if your little one wants to explore the world it can face outwards really easily too. The adjustable backrest features a multi position recline for afternoon napping and when sat upright the stroller can work as a highchair which is perfect for eating out.
Folding the Priam is simple with just 2 buttons and due to the sleek chassis the fold is compact and lightweight so great for putting into the car. The back wheels are easily removable if you need a little extra space once folded and the front wheels can be fixed or swivel for super maneuverability.
