Everyone warns you that entering into motherhood will change your life forever, the sleepless nights, nappy changes and just general chaos of becoming a first time mum can be overwhelming. Whilst all this is true, the little secret club you enter on this journey – the mum club – can be the best and most supportive club of them all.
Every single day on social media I see mums and mums to be building each other up, discussing their latest baby drama and helping each other through the night feeds. Balancing work life, their families and building their own businesses and mum empires!
If you don’t know what I’m talking about when I say mama merchandise – you seriously need to get on board and see what it’s all about. I recently read a blog post by Jodie who described wearing mum merchandise as being part of a small club, a secret handshake, a mutual understanding and respect.

Founder of Selfish Mother Molly Gunn is the lady responsible for ‘The Mother Book’ and the fabulous mother sweaters, with logos such as ‘WINGING IT’ and ‘MAMA’. These clothes are seriously comfy and some of the proceeds from every sale go to charity!! This mum is seriously on fire as her range has recently launched in John Lewis, be sure to check it out!!
