I have spoken before about Joie and their fabulous car seats but today I would like to talk about the newest addition the Joie Duallo, a group 2-3 car seat that is designed to grow with your little one all the way up to 12 years old.
The Duallo is an isofix high back booster and at £99.99 this is a great price for an isofix seat! The fitting is fairly simple and just requires the isofix points to be connected to your car – the indicators on the isofix will turn green once fitted correctly so you can rest assured your little one is safe and secure.
The Duallo is suitable as a forward facing seat from 18kg which is around 4 years old and at this point your little one can use the main seat belt in the car instead of a 5 point harness. As your child grows the Duallo has 11 height positions for the head rest but what I really love about this seat is as the height of the head rest adjusts the wings on the side also widen to allow for your growing toddler.
The guard surround safety panels add extra side impact protection on the Duallo and are to be used on the side closest to the car door, these are designed to absorb shock in the instance of an impact and when not in use these panels can be folded away.
The Duallo is currently only available in one colour which is a gorgeous vibrant red called salsa; I really love the bright orange piping on this too! All of the covers are breathable to keep your little one cool on hot days and they are removable to be machine washed as we all know how messy little hands can be!
