Last week we were lucky enough to receive a visit from the Uppababy team to unveil the latest member of the family; the Mesa i-Size car seat and today we want to share with you everything we love about this brand-new car seat.
Out of the box, the Mesa i-Size is fitted into the car using an Isofix base which is designed to make installation quick, easy and eliminates the need for a seat belt. Unlike any other car seat on the market, the Mesa i-Size has an easy to read graphic display which clearly outlines 5 steps to correctly fit the seat and as each one is completed, the indicator turns green for total peace of mind.
The car seat itself feels super sturdy and as an i-Size seat, the Mesa offers increased side impact protection especially around your little one's head. The headrest is made from EPP and memory foam and as your child grows, the headrest and harness can be easily adjusted without any harness rethreading – Hallelujah!!
Once your little one is in the seat, the infant insert ensures your baby is in the correct position and the built-in ventilation inside the car seat shell means they won't get too hot whilst you’re travelling.
Out of the car and onto your Uppababy Vista or Cruz stroller the Mesa i-Size doesn’t require any car seat adaptors and the one hand release means detaching your car seat is quick and easy too.
