As a company, we are all about extended rearward facing (ERF) car seats and if you didn’t know, they are statistically proven to be up to 5 times safer in the event of an impact, a no brainer right?
Today we want to take a closer look at one of the newest ERF car seats; the gb Vaya iSize and if you’re in the market for an extended rearward facing car seat, this could be the one for you!
The gb Vaya has the ability to have your little on rearward facing until they are 4 years old but also offers the option to have them forward face too should the need arise. The car seat will rotate whilst still attached to the base, which also means that the Vaya can rotate 90 degrees making it easy to get your little one in and out and save your back!
As the Vaya is iSize certified, this means it meets all of the latest legislation in the UK and ensures the car seat has undergone some of the most rigorous testing, particularly around side impact tests. The Vaya has also won a Red Dot Award for its innovative design and I’m sure we will see lots more awards for the Vaya iSize in the coming months.
Out of the Box
The Vaya is available in 6 different colours so there is definitely something for everyone and out of the box, the colours are vibrant and the fabrics feel really plush. The car seat feels really sturdy but it isn’t unmanageable and would be fine to carry if necessary.
Fitting into the Car
The Vaya easily fits into the car using the integrated isofix points and thanks to the ‘One-Click’ system; a wrong fitting is nearly impossible. The Vaya also has a side impact protection system that is extended on the side that is closest to the door and works to reduce forces in the event of a side impact collision.
For your little one…
To keep your little one as safe and comfortable as possible, the Vaya has lots of features such as a one hand recline that offers 5 different positions and the height adjustable head rest that grows with your toddler for ultimate protection.
For you…
As we mentioned earlier, the Vaya can turn 90 degrees to make getting your little one in and out as easy as possible the magnetic harness straps will keep the harness out of the way whilst you are doing so!
We’re sure you will agree that the gb Vaya really is a great all rounder and definitely one to take a look at if you are looking for an ERF car seat!
