What can the new Metro 3 do and what makes it the best travel stroller? As its name suggests, the Metro 3 is based on its predecessor, the Metro+. Travel buggy with maximum comfort & recline function
The seat of the Ergobaby Metro 3 is ergonomic and super comfortable thanks to its extra thick padding. However, the new Metro 3 has an even more spacious seat, so that little one has more room than in other comparable travel strollers on the market (based on surface area vs. leading ultra-compact strollers, Circana Data, March 2024). The Metro 3 also reclines: if little one gets tired, the backrest can be easily tilted backwards with one hand so that infant can sleep in an almost flat position. The roomy footrest can also be folded up to extend the lying surface even further. From this position parents can also convert it for newborn (0-6 months). Simply use the cleverly hidden, integrated flaps in the footrest and create a cosy newborn nest in which little one will feel safe and secure from day one. The mesh insert on the back of the stroller can be utilised to ensure air circulation. Another option for pushing a newborn around in the Metro 3 is a car seat, which you can simply attach using the separately available adapters. Not only are these easier to attach to the Metro 3 compared to its predecessor, it is also compatible with even more car seat brands and the stroller can be folded in with the adapters on. Plus, you don’t need to remove the seat to fit the adapters, making it even more flexible and perfect to take with you in the car.
Ideal Metro 3 travel buggy - equipped for wind and weather
The Metro 3 wouldn't be an ideal travel stroller if it wasn't prepared for all weather conditions. Thankfully, a large, extendable sun canopy - available in six stylish colours (separately available) - guarantees that little one is protected from the sun at any time of day. You can swap them in and out and let the buggy shine in new colours. There’s also a viewing window into the sun canopy so that you can keep an eye on little ones. Included in the box is a wind and rain cover to keep baby dry in even the heaviest downpours, and a new bug net is available separately.
