September 2015 was the first time I saw the concept for what was to become the Hybrid Edge and fast-forward to March 2016; it was the secret everyone was waiting to see. There had been ‘I could tell you but I’d have to kill you’ conversations, teasers and even some images but we finally got to see the finished product and I was VERY excited.
Now just a month away from the launch and I can’t wait to see what you guys think of this great product so let’s get into the details…
Marketed as ‘a stroller without compromise’ the Hybrid is a single stroller in both size and functionality but it can easily be converted to a double stroller by simply changing the rear axel and wheels. Now this may sound complicated but the wheels are changed with just the click of a button and the chassis is made large enough to carry two little passengers.
Once converted to double mode, the Hybrid will be able to accommodate two seat units, carrycots and car seats or a combination of different components as well. Due to the increased wheel base, there is lots of room for the second child unlike some tandems where it can seem like the children are on top of each other.
The fabrics on this stroller are one of the things that stood out to me right from the off, you can’t quite see it on the images but they have a really nice weave throughout that creates a lovely ‘melange’ type fabric. The colours themselves are vibrant and eye catching and there is lots of choice meaning there is something for everyone.
The Hybrid offers everything you would expect from a stroller such as a multi position recline, compact fold, reversible seat unit and the leatherette handle and bumper bar adds that extra little touch of luxury.
This Fabulous stroller is available to order now and will be in stores from October 2016 so make sure you pop in and check it out!
