Axkid Minikid 4.0 is approved to the most recent R129 safety standard and comes with improved comfort and safety for the child. This Swedish Plus Tested rear-facing car seat is suitable from 61 to 125cm and 36 kg (approx. 7 years of age).

The Axkid Minikid 4.0 is an innovative successor of this award-winning rear-facing car seat, which is suitable up to 36 kg and approved to the latest R129 safety regulations. This improved Swedish Plus Tested seat features a 10 cm higher backrest and adjustable V-shape headrest with 14-positions, that allows rear-facing travels for up to 7 years old. In addition, the special Dynamic headrest technology can automatically adjust the headrest position to your child’s length and size.

Helping the Minikid 4 to stand out from its previous version are its enhanced comfort and security features. The newly introduced textile material offers heightened softness and breathability, thereby ensuring more comfortable journeys for your child. Also, the redesigned textile design incorporates an optional detachable comfort back pad, which can be utilised to improve car travel. Notably, there are improvements to the headrest geometry, resulting in a better fit and positioning for your child, as well as providing support to their head and neck. Additionally, the updated toddler support cushion boosts support for younger children, enabling the optimal position within the car seat.

The Axkid Minikid 4.0 is developed with a force-absorbing technology giving your child the best protection in the event of a collision. Detachable Axkid Side Impact Protection (ASIP) addon stands an additional protection against side impact that coming from the closest car door. ASIP is designed and tested in ADAC in Germany with a recognized crash institute. If the car seat is used in the middle, it is not required.

Completely spacious, the Minikid 4.0 provides up to 30cm leg room to offer extraordinary comfort for your growing passenger. Its enhanced removable toddler cushion provides better fitting for children from 61-105 cm and consists of memory foam and mesh fabric to increase comfort and airflow. The seat is also equipped with the Sleep Well System that supports use in different positions for a comfortable and secure recline thanks to the multi-position leg placed in the front.

Installation of the Axkid Minikid 4.0 in the car is so easy and quick, that it can be done in just 60 seconds. Axkid developed a unique 6-step installation guide with the self-adjusting tether straps and BILT application that can be download to your smartphone. The app offers interactive 3D installation guide for both installation of the car seat and the child.

DPD Predict Service

Never miss a parcel delivery – for orders sent via DPD you will be notified by text and email on the day of despatch and again on the day of delivery offering a one hour time-slot. If you’re unavailable during this time you have the option of re-arranging your delivery date, or for your delivery to be left with a neighbour.

Download the DPD Predict app and nominate a specific neighbour, your chosen safe place or collect the parcel from your local DPD pickup shop. Please note that a signature is required for all DPD deliveries.

Direct Deliveries from Supplier

Where a product states direct delivery, this will be fulfilled by the supplier directly from their warehouse. Each supplier has a different delivery service. Please contact our sales team on [email protected] for any queries regarding direct deliveries.

Provided lead times are best estimate at the time as provided by our suppliers and are measured against a standard working week and do not factor in national holidays.

Please note that we can only deliver furniture to mainland UK, excluding the Highlands of Scotland, Islands and Ireland. We are unable to accept orders for International delivery.

Posting and Packaging

Here at Winstanleys Pramworld we operate a recycling policy and frequently re-use original packaging to ship brands or products that are different to those that appear on the original box. If you receive a package that has a different brand or product on the box other than you are expecting, please open the box to determine if the product is incorrect. Additionally, we will occasionally pack smaller items in with larger items - please double check the contents of the box. Opening your order does not affect any returns.

What if one of the items in my order is out of stock?

If an item is marked as out of stock what does this mean?

When a product is marked as out of stock on our website, it means it is temporarily out of stock cannot be dispatched right away but is on order with our supplier. Upon receiving your order we will contact you within 24 hours to advise an estimated delivery date.

Can I change my designated delivery day?

Yes. If you wish to select an alternative delivery day please give our Sales Team a call before 4.00pm on the day your order was placed. Once our courier DPD has collected your parcel(s) from us you will receive an email and/or SMS text message containing a link to DPD's website that will direct you to the tracking information for your order, enabling you to check its progress, location or even change your delivery day.
